LEATHER: Buffalo leather is soft and supple to the touch. The grain can vary from grainy to smooth. Some items have a variety of each, and is often preferred in distressed and vintage garments to give it more character. Occasionally you can see a three dot pattern to its hair follicles. There could be a minimal sign of natural scars, scratches, wrinkles, creases or bug bites in the hide. The natural character of each and every genuine leather skin is unique in its own way, and ready to break in.
STRENGTH RATING: 4-5 - Maximum strength ideal for riding protection (rating 1-5).

I've ordered several things from Jamin - jackets,vests,chaps ect. and now this sleeveless jacket. I'm very happy with it,soft leather,good quality and should be just right for that inbetween weather. If I had one thing to say to Jamin is that your belts on the jackets,chaps,ect. are a little on the light side. I would also like to say that the people on the phones have always been VERY helpful whenever I've ordered.
Just so you know I am not a shill or bot. Just a satisfied person with Jamin' leather. My first contact with them was a phone order for a short sleeve motorcycle jacket. They took the time to advise me on sizing and I thought 'God, these people are nice'. I thought the price was a bit low so my expectations were low but being able to actually talk to a live person in the leather goods business is a plus. Shipping was prompt and received the jacket the following week. Again I was pleased, the quality and workmanship were far above my expectations and fit was comfortable. This company is my first choice for any future purchases. My advice is stick with a winner, Jamin'. Suggestion: get some coats in catalog in the 'van helsing or Matrix' type. I am confident this company would get a quality supplier preventing folks like me from getting ripped off.
